DOLE Asec. Rubia-Tutay joins the 2022 CES Executive Leadership and Wellness Camp

Labor Assistant Secretary and Concurrent BLE Director Dominique Rubia-Tutay joined other government executives in the 2022 Career Executive Service (CES) Executive Leadership and Wellness Camp on 25 to 27 May 2022 at Nurture Wellness Village, Pulong Sagingan, Barangay Maitim II, West Luzon, Tagaytay.

The Wellness Camp is part of the CES Board’s advocacy to promote total wellness, work-life balance, and sustained productivity among career executives through learning activities on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, meaningful relationships, and holistic stress management.

“Pahingalay” was the theme of this year’s wellness camp which took off from three Filipino words “pahinga” (to rest), “hinga” (to breathe), and “alay” (offer). Participants were glad to undergo rest/relaxation sessions and wellness activities (tai qi, juice demo, chair yoga, coffee roasting and tea-making demo) which were also a way to give back to and honor the Career Executive Service Officers in the health sector, human resource services, and frontline services.

The CES Board regularly conducts activities like the above mentioned as part of their credo on work-life balance vis-à-vis effective leadership. Follow-up sessions will also be conducted with the career officials to equip them with further motivation, knowledge, and practical tips.
